Since 2012 it has been a government requirement that schools should provide access to a qualified careers expert who can offer independent, impartial careers guidance to students. Glyn Ellis of yourcareersadviser.com has provided this service to West Yorkshire schools for over 20 years and over 20 years. He is a Level 7 Qualified Careers Professional. In addition to years of business experience he holds a level 6 Management Qualification from the Chartered Management Institute. Glyn is available for short term careers guidance supply work in schools and colleges.

Experience of self-employment, management and training roles.

A member of the organising committee for the annual Careers on Show exhibition at the Royal Armouries. Organiser and presenter of the Parent’s Information Events at Careers On Show.
Jointly responsible for bringing the first Skills Show Yorkshire to Leeds.
Delivered careers guidance information and training to senior Pakistan government representatives on behalf of Leeds City Council.
